Nestled on the west mesa, offering a spectacular romantic view overlooking the City of Albuquerque and the high Sandia Mountain range to the east, is the Salsas Grill which features outstanding cuisine served with a Guatemalan flair, style, grace and hospitality. Congenial hosts, Olga and Sigfrido Paz and their daughter Angie have created a warm and charming ambiance throughout their restaurant with a very personalized decorative touch from their native Guatemala. A colorful collection of beautiful hand-painted bowls and plates adorn the walls while pictures of home and country compliment the motif. Their menu features Guatemalan, Mexican, and New Mexican specialties, splendidly prepared and presented with an elegant flair. Sigfrido attends to his customers with familial warmth and genuine sincerity while Olga creates her culinary masterpieces in the kitchen.
